This was one of the best books I have read. It's the story of a young magical woman who is being hunted by a powerful being while struggling to protect another.Aaron McManus is a powerful vampire who has just inherited the kiss. They meet when Sara saves Aaron's life. The sparks begin to fly. As their relationship grows, danger surrounds them. Will they ever find their happy ever after?Come and read this story. You won't be disappointed. This is a bit ranty, at tad spiolery, and more than a little long. You have been warned. I have read a book. By all accounts, it was a bad book (horrible, inconceivably horrible) riddled with plot holes the size of Dalek battle fleet. That is not my problem (48% of problem). My problem is that the readers of this novel are told to believe that the heroine (Sara) is an independent woman, and that is why she acts like a complete moron when faced with danger. This annoys me, not so much because it
I hate to say this, but honestly, this did not deserve even one star. I hate having to be negative about someone's effort at creativity, but I can't honestly give this book more than one star and a bad review. I'm extremely disappointed that the rating system has been so abused, or skewed, that this book has an average rating near four stars. How is that possible? There was no writing or plot faux-pas that didn't get a blaring hit in this piece. Grammar issues, plot holes, contradictory
Sarah Temple prefers to remain under the radar, working quietly for vampires. hiding what she is from everyone. When she saves the life of Master Vampire Aaron MacManus, she becomes the focus of more people than she really is comfortable about, because she finds it increasingly difficult to hide out, protecting her Queen in the processfrom the Queen's own consort.I'm not sure I really understood this book, but I really didnt take to it at all. this may sound strange, but it seemed the characters
can i just say that i love this cover?
Yay to winning free things!
Talk about confusing characters! I don't get Sara at all, at the beginning of the story I was excited since she was introduced as an 11 year old kid who was like super talented/skilled and smart mouthed to boot. She is supposed to be a protector to a queen (supposedly a super ancient magical queen whose name happens to be Melody...yes Melody), a strong character and she was introduced to us 15 years later vacuuming the floor!? (yes they said she was a pilot but come on!) And don't make me even
