Funny, bloody, partly like pulp fiction, terminator and every boys dream put together in a very relaxing fun to read book. Vampires included - do not mean gaypires but nasty creatures who use katanas and elite SWAT like training, technology of the next century like nanobots, suits and conspiracy theories. All wrapped in dark atmosphere and handful of nasty and fun comments on the subject of violence and sex. Pure awesomness to let of steam and laugh your ass off;)

Noční klub mi bol odporúčaný už približne 15 rokov. Teraz, po dlhom čase som sa k nemu konečne dostal....a bolo ťažké to pustiť z rúk :)Je to prototyp temného fantasy. Opisy brutálnych (fyzicky aj psychicky) scén, ktoré človeku dvíhajú obočia sú bežným prostriedkom autorov na dosiahnutie šoku a pozornosti...ale v tejto knihe to pôsobí, ako niečo viac. An enjoyable read. Similar in some respects to Sergei Lukyanenko's 'Night Watch' series. The Night Club is a group of vigilantes who right wrongs. Then following an attack our protagonist wakes up in a coffin as a vampire.Humorous, entertaining, and fun. Pirates, vampires, grave diggers, cannibals. A romp through the seedier side of life. The only down side is that it does not stand alone, so part 2 will have to be ordered

V tu chvíli se staly tři věci naráz. A Dan Brown, Nesbo a podobní už nebudou nikdy jako dřív. Fantazie.

Kulhánek Jiří mi byl několikrát předhazován jako fenomén. Zajímavý je i tím, že odmítá dotisky a ceny jeho knih tedy mezi sběrateli rostou. Chtěl jsem si doplnit rozhled a vybral si tedy toto dílo. Není to špatné béčko, byť jeho skalním příznivcem se nestanu a nejspíš si nepřečtu ani pokračování Noční klub 2. Je to čtivé, autor vládne dobře jazykem. Nenarazil jsem ani na žádné faktografické keksy (věnuje asi dost rešerši, ač na kesonovou nemoc u freedivingu se už dnes kouká jinak). Je tam dost

It was quite a time since I enjoyed some book like this one. I finished it just in a couple days. I just could not stop with reading there was all the time something going on. You know moments like "just one more page" which is going for couple of hours. The books which I read recently were mostly complex stories with multiple layers this one is quite straight forward but simplicity is compensated by engaging story telling. I loved the theme with fantasy/horror/mystery/action-with-fun-quotes. I
