Relation Concering Books True Colors

True Colors is New York Times bestselling author Kristin Hannah's most provocative, compelling, and heart-wrenching story yet. With the luminous writing and unforgettable characters that are her trademarks, she tells the story of three sisters whose once-solid world is broken apart by jealousy, betrayal, and the kind of passion that rarely comes along.

The Grey sisters have always been close. After their mother's death, the girls banded together, becoming best friends. Their stern, disapproving father cares less about his children than about his reputation. To Henry Grey, appearances are everything, and years later, he still demands that his daughters reflect his standing in the community.

Winona, the oldest, needs her father's approval most of all. An overweight bookworm who never felt at home on the sprawling horse ranch that has been in her family for three generations, she knows that she doesn't have the qualities her father values. But as the best lawyer in town, she's determined to someday find a way to prove her worth to him.

Aurora, the middle sister, is the family peacemaker. She brokers every dispute and tries to keep them all happy, even as she hides her own secret pain.

Vivi Ann is the undisputed star of the family. A stunningly beautiful dreamer with a heart as big as the ocean in front of her house, she is adored by all who know her. Everything comes easily for Vivi Ann, until a stranger comes to town. . . .

In a matter of moments, everything will change. The Grey sisters will be pitted against one another in ways that none could have imagined. Loyalties will be tested and secrets revealed, and a terrible, shocking crime will shatter both their family and their beloved town.

With breathtaking pace and penetrating emotional insight, True Colors is an unforgettable novel about sisters, rivalry, forgiveness, redemption—and ultimately, what it means to be a family.

Notice Regarding Books True Colors
I loved this book! I have read some great stories recently and I have had some difficulty in finding stories that grip me, keep me interested and that I can love. I probably should have known to turn to the author who wrote the book that will forever remain one of my favourites...The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah! I read this book within 24 hours! I would recommend this book.

Really, all I have to say about this book is the following:1) My grandma lent it to me. ❤2) It is 544 pages and I read it in under 24 hours. Those are my main two positive impressions. When I was in middle school, my best friend began working her way through her moms womens fiction collection, which was (like any self-respecting stack of chick lit) dominated by Kristin Hannah. This led to her discovering a book called Firefly Lane, which led to her telling me to read it, which led to my favorite

I really enjoyed this one! I love Kristin Hannah's books.I know when I chose to read a book written by her I am going to read a wonderful story filled with likable characters. That is exactly what I got with this book. This is a story about 3 sisters who are all very close until an event tears them apart. I could feel all the emotions and heartbreak that they were going through. This was sad at times but a great story. Highly recommend.Thank you to St. Martin's Press for a free copy in exchange

This book is an excellent example of why, sometimes, I keep reading when I don't like a book. Granted, I had read this author before, and therefore was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt based on previous enjoyment. But I'm glad I didn't miss out on an enjoyable read.True Colors is about the Grey sisters, who lose their mother to cancer when the oldest is 15. We skip forward over a decade. Winona, the oldest, is an embittered, fat spinster. The middle child, Aurora, is married with two

Unbelievable...Kristin never fails...she is such an amazing author! I can't recommend this book high enough...what a beautiful story. I couldn't read it fast enough and I didn't want it to end...WOW The characters in this book are so real I felt they were part of my family. The dynamics in personality, depth of feeling and emotion, picturesque descriptions of town, home, and country, the twists and turns of what happens to them, the surprises, the hardships, and joy in one another's life's, the

Don't bother. I'd have given it one star, but that would have made me feel a bit guilty, because it did hold my attention enough to finish it. I felt like I was reading a Harlequin Romance book, complete with the stereotypical Perfect Sister, the Chubby Smart Sister, the Beautiful Wild Sister and the Indian Who Scares The White People. This is my first Kristin Hannah book, and I've had friends recommend her. Maybe it's a bit like Jodi Piccoult, you either love her or ... you don't. It just felt
