Relation Concering Books Unbreakable (The Legion #1)

Supernatural meets The Da Vinci Code in this action-packed paranormal thriller, the first book in a new series from New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia.

I never believed in ghosts. Until one tried to kill me.

When Kennedy Waters finds her mother dead, her world begins to unravel. She doesn’t know that paranormal forces in a much darker world are the ones pulling the strings. Not until identical twins Jared and Lukas Lockhart break into Kennedy’s room and destroy a dangerous spirit sent to kill her. The brothers reveal that her mother was part of an ancient secret society responsible for protecting the world from a vengeful demon — a society whose five members were all murdered on the same night.

Now Kennedy has to take her mother’s place in the Legion if she wants to uncover the truth and stay alive. Along with new Legion members Priest and Alara, the teens race to find the only weapon that might be able to destroy the demon — battling the deadly spirits he controls every step of the way.

Suspense, romance, and the paranormal meet in this chilling urban fantasy, the first book in a new series from Kami Garcia, bestselling coauthor of the Beautiful Creatures novels.

Critique Regarding Books Unbreakable (The Legion #1)
fantastic read! Read the whole book yesterday! It is compared to Buffy and supernatural and i can completely see why! BLOODYBRILLIANT

I would give this 3.5. It was an ok story. I did enjoy it, but I don't see myself continuing this series either. It is about a girl named Kennedy who's mother was killed by a ghost. When the ghost comes for her next, this group of kids show up to save her and explain that she is part of this thing called the Legion that is meant to protect the world. There's a lot of ghost hunting and spooky aspects. There are definitely some creepy parts in the book. Like I said, I enjoyed it, but it just isn't

Carry on my wayward son Sorry, they just aired the season 10 finale of Supernatural...So back to UnbreakableSo Sam Winchester Kennedy Waters doesn't believe in ghost neither is she interested in the paranormal or being a Hunter part of the Legion all she wanted is just a normal life. But it changed when his her mother died set on fire in the ceiling because of the cat. And cats are indeed creepier and scarier than any demons or paranormal entities out there. And later on two twins,

3.5 stars.I didn't know what to expect when I opened Unbreakable, I knew there will be a group of teenagers who act as demon hunters...but that is pretty much all that I knew. I also have to admit teenage demon hunters really isn't my thing, but for the sake of the author, Kami Garcia, I decided to give this book a shot.Turns out this book is quite a mixed bag, the demon-hunting plot is only so-and-so, not to mention I don't like the romance between the two teenagers (you will know which two of

Huh... Kami Garcia wrote a new book. I'll give it a try. But the synopsis sounds similar to the beginning of the Mortal Instruments series...

I should have known better, from the mention of The DaVinci Code in the blurb.Let's start from the beginning. Supernatural clone? I have no problem with that. A talented writer can work with a well-used plot and make it their own, with a compelling plot, with complex characters, with a beautifully wrought romance. With that said, I am pleased to tell you that you don't have to waste your time on this book. Look elsewhere for your paranormal ghost-busting fix. Hell, just stick to watching

I wasnt exactly sure about what it was in this book that didnt work for me, but a friend of mine pointed it out and I cant help but agree: its Supernatural rip off from the set up, to the characters, to the very ending! Except that this one failed in one key way: the Winchester brothers have personality, have heart... its not all chases and crazy ass demons to beat, the brothers have this ineffable thing that always has me rooting for them. Not the case here.Theres a girl and then there are two
