Evaluate Out Of Books New York to Dallas (In Death #33)
I ALMOST gave this 5 stars, but the sheer coincidence of the character TWIST was enough for 4 1/2. Nonetheless this was a REALLY REALLY good book:1) Creepy bad guy2) Lots of character stakes3) Overall plot forward-pushing.Thumbs up! It's so amazing that after 33 books you can still really CARE about how the characters interact with one another, whether they succeed or not. THis one had a TON of tension, the most in quite a while in the series. Yes, we've seen a lot of this past trauma touched on

Book #33 and still going strong!! I LOVED this one! First of all, I should know better than to start an Eve and Roarke book when I have work in RL to do!! Nothing ends up existing when I become captivated by one of JD Robb's masterpieces. This installment ended being one of the very best of the series. I was kind of worried about this one as I knew that Eve would probably be going to Dallas to solve a case instead of her home town of New York. The thing is...for Eve; Dallas has memories for

A Gentle 4 StarsOverall this was an enjoyable read, and whilst Im very much aware of certain tropes that the author uses in this series, the story and characters remain engaging. In this one Eve has to again face a particularly sadistic and disturbed killer/paedophile from her early days as a cop, he has escaped from prison and is set on getting revenge on the woman who stopped him Detective Eve Dallas. And he is more than willing to use and hurt the innocent to reach his goal. Unexpectedly

Reread This one was brutal and had me crying till the very end, what this evil son of a b**ch did to those young girls was heartbreaking, living through Eve's memories of her past was heartbreaking, Roarke's reaction to her suffering was heartbreaking but as always their love shone a little light into the darkness. Beware rape of children is heavily prevalent here***************************************************************RereadThis was one of the most intense and heartbreaking books of this

5+ stars - Futuristic/Romantic Suspense/Mystery/Crime/Science Fiction/Romantic ThrillerEve. He waited a beat. I once stood in a field in Ireland, alone, a little lost, and wishing for you more than I wished for my next breath. And you came, though I never asked you, you came because you knew I needed you. We dont always do whats right, whats good. Not even for each other. But when it counts, down to the core of it, I believe we do exactly that. Whats right and good for each other. Theres no rule

I can't say enough good about this book on so many levels. J.D. Robb really outdid herself - 2 books in a row!The first time I read this book, I actually thought - Okay, this could very well be the end of the series because it wraps everything up quite nicely. But then I thought, No, there will always be serial killers, stuff that blows up, devious minds, and twisted stories! This is right up there in my all time favourites of this series - love, love, love this book. Meeting Eve's mother, as

If I could give it 10 stars I would. I LOVED EVERY FUCKING MINUTE OF THIS BOOK!!Every word.Every moment. Every tear. One of the best in the series. I just love Eve. ❤
