It was entertaining, but seemed to be taking a paranormal romance direction in the second book, Sweep in Peace, so I stopped following the series. Peace was recently released as a Kindle book with an accompanying deal on its predecessor. I fell asleep countless times while reading this book and I can't believe the same duo wrote the outstanding Hidden Legacy series. It didn't help that the cast of characters were all so self-aggrandising and insufferable. This is certainly one for the HATED IT list. 😒😒
