The 2nd book I read for this author, and seems he is becoming one of my favorite writers. Love, suspense, strong feelings, confusion, faith, turning points in life...you can find all of those in his books!!13 year apart..thinking that the other did not care, assuming that the other is living his/ her life without pain...wanting the other to fight for their love...and doing nothing because of stupid pride and leaving control to fears..so afraid to be rejected...so afraid to be the one who loves

I really wanted to enjoy this book, it had all the ingredients of a fascinating story, the enigmatic cover of a woman alone on a beach, an unrequited love, a cop looking for a world famous art thief, set in France and the USA, obsessive characters ........ but in the end I just felt quite disappointed.I thought the main storyline was too coincidental, it just didnt feel plausible to me. If I said what it was it would be a huge spoiler. I didnt really empathise with the main characters either,

Which is how I came to find out about Musso. There was only one slight problem here. This author doesn't have to many books translated in to English. And my friend who isn't English had read a bunch of his books that where much more in the crime genre and haven't been translated yet. But I figured she loved

Veeeeery slow paced

This was almost painful to read, such a shame, because I read a couple of Mussos books before and really liked them.
